Deco Technician

Position Summary

Ensure decorator machine is operating at peak efficiency within quality specifications.

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

• Aid in the operation of decorator equipment while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow daily maintenance plans and conduct audits of machines and housekeeping according to the maintenance plan.
• Perform basic technical repairs and report on technician-level repairs.
• Troubleshoot faulty equipment and assemblies.
• Assist the Decorator Specialist with repairing defective parts.
• Conduct routine quality checks at appropriate stages of production.
• Perform any other duties as reasonably assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

• Vocational education a plus (Mechanical, Technical, or similar).
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• One to three years' experience as a Mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Self-motivated with high attention to detail required.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance and repair preferred.
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety, fire prevention, and environmental protection regulations.
