Dealership Accountant

About the role

The Dealership Accountant I at Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Wasilla is an entry level position responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent recording of dealership transactions. This role focuses on managing transactional postings of dealership activities and requires strong accounting and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Submission of Service Contracts
• Submission of Warranty Contracts
• New car purchases and Dealer trades
• Recording of used car purchases
• Request and process lien payoffs
• Processing of cash receipts
• Regional check runs
• Processing and payment of vendor invoices
• FTC reconciliation
• Accounting for manufacturer monies (parts, warranty, incentives, misc)
• Posting to Intercompany accounts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma (required)
• Auto Industry Experience (preferred)
• Retail Sales and/or Customer Service (preferred)
• Proficiency Standards: Integrity, Work Ethic, Team Player, Team Builder

Pay

Compensation Range: $17.80 - $26.45/hr with a typical starting range of $18-$25/hr. Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.

Schedule

Indoor office environment, considerable use of telephone, computer and other office equipment.
