About the role
The Dealer Commercial Services Underwriter plays a crucial role in evaluating and managing credit risk for dealership floorplan, revolving, term, and real estate financing. This position requires a proven track record in dealer commercial underwriting with 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage credit risk for dealership floorplan, revolving, term, and real estate financing
- Monitor dealer performance and audits
- Approve and adjust credit lines based on trends
- Detect and investigate high-risk activity or fraud
- Comply with lending policies and internal guidelines
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies or corrective action for underperforming accounts
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Dealer Commercial Underwriting
- Experience in commercial portfolio management preferred
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Financial statement analysis, including balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow evaluation
- Credit underwriting, structuring, and risk assessment for complex commercial relationships
- Portfolio monitoring and credit file management
- Preparation of clear, well-documented credit and findings reports
- Working knowledge of commercial lending processes and credit policies
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess risk and evaluate trade-offs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Products, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to groups
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to responsiveness and professional interaction
- Self-starter who takes initiative, adapts to change, and seeks alternative solutions when needed

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $65,625.00 USD to $107,500.00 USD annually. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
Schedule
The schedule for this role will be determined based on the needs of the department and the individual's qualifications.
