Dealer Buyback Collections Specialist

About the role

The Dealer Buyback Collections Specialist will manage all aspects of the buyback collection process, including notices and follow-up with dealers and customers. This role involves working closely with dealerships, sales teams, and other internal departments to resolve outstanding buybacks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain business relationships with existing dealers and customers.
• Communicate with Dealer Marketing Managers, Regional Managers, and Dealer partners to facilitate and resolve buybacks.
• Conduct preliminary studies to assess the buyback process and ensure compliance with business objectives.
• Follow up and implement action plans to resolve outstanding buybacks.
• Aid dealer partners and providers in developing strategies to expedite amounts owed and collaborate with management on the buyback process.
• Assist with projects related to buybacks, such as gathering required information, identifying deliverables, revising reports, obtaining approvals, publishing reports, and maintaining historical files.
• Update account information according to established procedures and security guidelines, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 2+ years of progressive experience in the auto lending, collections, or consumer lending industry with a strong track record.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on attention to detail.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
• Ability to interact professionally, tactfully, and sensitively with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently as part of a team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour + Bonus
