Dealer Analytics Manager

About the role
The Dealer Analytics Manager is responsible for creating product support standards and metrics to strengthen dealer performance, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction across the dealer network. This role serves as a strategic partner to dealers and internal teams, ensuring data-driven insights, best practices, and structured training tools are used to elevate dealer operations. The position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities
- Dealer Performance & Support
- Benchmark dealer operations to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
- Conduct performance assessments to uncover challenges in parts, service, sales, and training execution.
- Partner with RPSM teams to develop targeted improvement and coaching plans for dealers.
- Support dealers in implementing recommended processes, tools, and reporting structures.
- Data Collection, Analysis & KPI Development
- Gather and consolidate operational performance data across Parts, Service Training, and Sales departments.
- Analyze dealer-level data to create customized KPIs that measure operational health, productivity, and customer service performance.
- Build dashboards, scorecards, and performance tools to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by applying principles of relational database structure and relationships.
- Use understanding of relational databases to connect datasets, interpret data relationships, and maintain consistency between internal systems.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Generate recurring and ad-hoc reports for internal leadership, regional teams, and external dealer personnel.
- Use Excel to organize, analyze, and present complex data clearly.
- Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visualizations of relevant data/information.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal Parts, Service Training, and Sales teams to develop a unified picture of dealer performance.
- Communicate findings and insights to internal leadership to support strategic initiatives and resource allocation.
- Serve as a communication bridge between internal departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
- Travel & Dealer Engagement
- Travel 25%–50% based on business needs for dealer visits, performance reviews, workshops, and training support.
- Build strong relationships with dealer personnel, fostering trust, openness, and long-term improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- 3+ years of experience in dealer operations, sales support, service operations, or a similar customer-facing role (preferred).
Skills
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data modeling).
- High level of experience with Power BI for dashboard development; willingness to learn if not already proficient.
- Comprehensive understanding of relational databases, including tables, keys, relationships, joins, normalization, and data integrity.
- Ability to connect concept adjacencies and interpret data from multiple sources to create accurate and relevant reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with a bias for curiosity to turn data into meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across multiple levels of organizations; verbal and illustrative presentation skills focused on themes, concepts, and actions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize responsibilities, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated commitment and focus on developing and supporting dealer success.

Schedule
This role is 75% in-office (Antioch, TN) and 25% travel.
