Dealer Account Manager

About the role

Westlake Financial is a leading privately held auto finance company with a strong focus on growth and expansion. The company operates across all 50 states, including Puerto Rico, and is actively seeking talented individuals to join its expanding team.

Responsibilities

• Educate and train current and potential dealer partners in the assigned area
• Acquire new sales prospects and maintain relationships with existing dealers
• Manage and consult in all sales activities and account development for dealers within the assigned area
• Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery
• Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to dealers
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
• Provide solutions, rehash, and restructure vehicle loans for approval
• Aid in the preparation of sales contracts by educating dealers on necessary verification
• Develop, maintain, and understand sales materials and stay updated on financial product knowledge
• Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance, and Sales (required)
• College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience)
• Presentation skills (from initial creation to delivery)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology
• Goal-oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement
• Knowledge or experience with DealerTrack, Routeone, or CUDL (beneficial)
• Previous outside sales experience (preferred)
• Significant local travel to current and potential clients
