Responsibilities

• Safely, efficiently, and accurately unload inbound trailers using RC forklifts or other warehouse equipment, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Unload all product off inbound trucks and move to designated location.
• Maintain continuity and flow of the receiving dock.
• Demonstrate good organizational skills due to documentation needs.
• Ensure all quality and production goals are met daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Apply a positive and enthusiastic approach to customer service while maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
• Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support while assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.
• Demonstrate behaviors that exemplify Rural King's Values: People First, Integrity, Attitude, Initiative, Teamwork, Accountability, and Continuous Improvement.
• Actively participate in learning initiatives such as training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire new knowledge and refine existing skills.
• May be required to cross-train and perform other duties.

Requirements

• Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment.
• Remain flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
• Prior experience with forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate aligned with the People Promise, which includes having a positive and passionate attitude for and commitment to Rural King initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Proven track record of consistently producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.

• Proven track record of successfully adapting to new environments, responsibilities, and tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
• Must be able to lift 65 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate all facilities.
• Must be able to verbally communicate effectively with others (in-person and via electronic devices).
• Must be able to see at close and far distances.
• Must be able to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.
