About the role
As a splitter, you are responsible for the timely and accurate receipt of all products received at the warehouse, including splitting or cross-docking in our facility. You will handle all proper documentation of BOLs and itemized shipping documentation, ensure quality and production KPI goals are met, and maintain a clean and safe working environment. This role involves operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, inspecting and counting products, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Accurately inspect and count all products received in the warehouse or on the conveyor.
- Properly document all BOLs and itemized shipping documentation.
- Move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly quality and production KPI goals.
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external customer support.
- Actively participate in training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives.
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with Rural King’s values and People Promise.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- At least one year of warehouse/manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to count and perform basic math.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Proven track record of producing error-free work and meeting quality standards.
- Ability to adapt to new environments, responsibilities, and tasks.
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities and projects with a proactive approach to learning and growth.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Ability to lift up to 65 pounds at times.
- Ability to access and navigate all warehouse facilities.

- Ability to lift, bend, carry, and push repetitively.
