Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and availability throughout the distribution center by proper handling of product.
- Carry out tasks as required by DC leadership, especially in a designated area (e.g., Inbound, Outbound, Quality Assurance).
- Research inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain clean and neat work areas, including cleaning up spills that occur during job duties.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Serve as a trainer if experienced, taking ownership of the DC target training program to ensure training is conducted on schedule and documentation is completed.
- Train team members on specific job duties/functions and communicate departmental or procedural changes.
- Operate safely and remain vigilant for unsafe practices or situations.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by DC Management.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Must complete and pass a company-standardized test.
- Ability to work closely and collaboratively with others.
- Ability to read and match numerical and alpha characters quickly and accurately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Desired experience in a warehouse environment.
- Alphanumeric stocking or RF-directed stocking experience.
- Familiarity with automotive parts.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
