Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and availability throughout the distribution center by proper handling of product.
- Carry out tasks required by DC leadership, particularly in designated areas (e.g., Inbound, Outbound, Quality Assurance).
- Research inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain clean and neat work areas, including cleaning up spills.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations.
- Serve as a trainer for team members with experience, ensuring training is conducted on schedule and documentation is completed.
- Explain specific job duties and functions to new and existing team members.
- Operate safely and remain vigilant for unsafe practices or situations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by DC Management.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Must complete and pass a company-standardized test.
- Ability to work closely and effectively with others.
- Ability to read and match numerical and alphanumeric characters quickly and accurately.
- High school diploma or GED.
Qualifications
- Experience in a warehouse environment (desired).
- Alphanumeric stocking or RF-directed stocking experience (desired).
- Familiarity with automotive parts (desired).
- Advanced computer skills (desired).
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish (highly desired).
