DC Materials Handler

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and availability throughout the distribution center by proper handling of product.
• Carry out tasks required by DC leadership, particularly in designated areas (e.g., Inbound, Outbound, Quality Assurance).
• Research inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain clean and neat work areas, including cleaning up spills.
• Observe all safety rules and regulations.
• Serve as a trainer for team members with experience, ensuring training is conducted on schedule and documentation is completed.
• Explain specific job duties and functions to new and existing team members.
• Operate safely and remain vigilant for unsafe practices or situations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by DC Management.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills.
• Must complete and pass a company-standardized test.
• Ability to work closely and effectively with others.
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphanumeric characters quickly and accurately.
• High school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse environment (desired).
• Alphanumeric stocking or RF-directed stocking experience (desired).
• Familiarity with automotive parts (desired).
• Advanced computer skills (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish (highly desired).
