About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Database Tester. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our database systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test cases to identify defects in database operations.
- Work closely with developers to understand requirements and implement effective testing strategies.
- Document test results and provide feedback to improve system performance and functionality.
- Collaborate with other QA team members to ensure comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the database system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in database testing or related QA roles.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database management systems.
- Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in database testing methodologies and best practices.
- Knowledge of database design principles and normalization techniques.
- Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
