Daytime Supervisor/Handyman

Responsibilities

• Aid in scheduling custodial tasks.
• Coordinate security coverage with the Director of Security.
• Ensure arrangements for scheduled events are made.
• Make periodic inspections for repairs and maintenance.
• Undertake and log regular life safety tests, including fire drills and fire alarm testing.
• Respond to work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Supervise and direct building staff.
• Repair and replace window units and glass.
• Repair and replace doors, locksets, hinges, and door closers.
• Repair existing flooring and replace ceiling tiles.
• Layout and install new walls and ceilings.
• Replace sinks, toilets, urinals, and hose bibs.
• Repair leaking water connections and heating pipes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED equivalent preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of experience.
• Regular, reliable, and predictable work attendance.
• Ability to operate custodial and maintenance equipment.
• Good knowledge of proper chemical storage, use, and inventory.
• Skills in maintenance tools and materials.

Qualifications

• Extensive time sitting and standing.
• Able to climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolds, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach, and kneel.
• Able to lift 25-40 pounds.
• Must wear a uniform.
• Exposure to chemical cleaners and pesticides.

Pay

Maximum Salary: USD $39,396.00/Yr.

Minimum Salary: USD $34,320.00/Yr.
