Day Program Supervisor

About the role
This position requires someone who has had a Driver’s License for at least 1 year (post permit) and a clean driving record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy. Proof of full coverage vehicle insurance and a reliable personal vehicle is required.
As a Program Supervisor, you will facilitate the implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISP) and participate in a range of administrative duties including staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. You will supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals we serve in the program and provide direct support to individuals receiving services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of Caregivers supporting individuals in the program
- Provide direct support to individuals, including assistance with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work or other activities
- Split duties between direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision
- Implement behavioral redirection supports and use adaptive equipment
- Plan and implement creative approaches to encourage active participation in the program and community
- Provide transportation supports utilizing various roadways including highways, country roads, and city streets
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and remain actively moving throughout the day
- Be available for on-call duties outside of primary scheduled hours
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (proof of education required)
- One year of related work experience
- Must be 18 years or older
- Current driver’s license, car registration, and auto insurance
- Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and those served
- Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules
- Flexible availability to work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, with on-call availability outside scheduled hours
The ideal candidate will have experience in budgeting and financial management, providing medical and personal care, and planning creative program activities.
Pay
Hire wage is $21 hourly.
Schedule
Full-time, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional on-call availability outside scheduled hours.
