About the role
As an Assistant Program Manager in our Day Program Department, you'll play a hands-on role in creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. You'll lead activities, supervise community outings, and help individuals work toward their personal and employment goals - all while making a real difference in the lives of others.Responsibilities
- Lead activities designed to enhance social skills and independence
- Supervise community outings and outings within the facility
- Support individuals in achieving their personal and employment goals
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive and inclusive environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDDD)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for community outings)
Qualifications
- NADSP Certification is preferred but not required
- Experience in program management or related field
- Passing a background check
