About the role

At Pediatric Home Service, RNs and LPNs deliver personalized, 1:1 care that allows children with medical complexities to grow and thrive in the comfort of home. This position is based in Apple Valley, MN (55124) and involves 12‑hour day shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, as well as 12‑hour night shifts with overnight coverage every Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday night plus every other Wednesday and Thursday night. The client is a 1‑year‑old child with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and gastrostomy tube. Night‑ and weekend‑differential bonuses apply: Weekday nights (Mon–Fri) +$1/hour; Weekend nights (Sat–Sun) +$2/hour; Weekend days (Sat–Sun) +$1/hour.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized, 1:1 nursing care to children with medical complexities in their home.
  • Manage ventilator, tracheostomy (trach), and gastrostomy tube (g‑tube) care.
  • Support the child's growth, development, and comfort while working closely with families.

Qualifications

  • Current RN or LPN license in Minnesota.
  • Willingness to learn specialized pediatric care (ventilator, trach, g‑tube).
  • Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
  • Compassionate, team‑oriented, and able to work flexible shifts.

Pay

Base hourly range: $25.00–$31.00 for LPNs and $35.00–$41.00 for RNs, based on license, experience, and qualifications.

Night‑ and weekend‑differential bonuses: Weekday nights (Mon–Fri) +$1/hour; Weekend nights (Sat–Sun) +$2/hour; Weekend days (Sat–Sun) +$1/hour.

Schedule

12‑hour day shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

12‑hour night shifts with overnight coverage: every Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday night; plus every other Wednesday and Thursday night.

Shifts are located in Apple Valley, MN (55124) caring for a 1‑year‑old child with trach, ventilator, and g‑tube.
