About the role
The Day Habilitation DSP Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in providing comprehensive support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement training programs for DSPs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Mentor and coach DSPs to improve their performance and professional development.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide individualized support plans for participants.
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for DSP positions.
- Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss team progress and address any issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals with disabilities and their families.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of community resources and services available to individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in developing and implementing service plans.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay
$20.00 per hour
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
