Day Care Assistant – Brantwood Hall

About the role

Roseberry Care is a community providing care services across 25 homes, supporting nearly 1,200 residents. This position is at Brantwood Hall, 14 North Avenue, Wakefield, WF1 3RX.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Help with mobility and transfers
• Offer companionship and a friendly presence
• Support mental and emotional well-being
• Observe and report changes in a client’s physical or emotional condition

Requirements

• NVQ2 in Adult Health and Social Care
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience in Care although this is not essential
• Excellent communication, listening and empathy skills
• A genuine passion for elderly care and team development
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Pay

£12.76 per hour

Schedule

24 hours per week, 4 days out of 7 - 9am-3pm, ideal for school runs.
