Database Integration Manager

Role Overview: The Global Group Lead/Unit Manager for Database and Integration Operations is a key leader responsible for ensuring efficient and continuous improvement of the IT Database and Integration Operations Unit. Key Responsibilities: Oversee operational and analytical database platforms, including data warehouses, marts, and lakes, as well as APIs, service buses, and messaging systems.Develop and implement strategies, standards, policies, and best practices aligned with organizational goals.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop roadmaps, present strategies, and ensure QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) objectives are met.Lead, coach, and mentor high-performing teams, fostering engagement and performance improvement.Maintain platform service levels, ensure compliance, and manage risk mitigation tools.Represent the unit in meetings, fostering global collaboration and driving initiatives.Create impactful presentations for stakeholders at various levels.Develop relationships across regions, manage vendor relations, and support large enterprise platform services.Support operational aspects of database administration, middleware, cloud migration, and hybrid IT solutions.Ensure team and operational excellence through continuous improvement and strategic leadership. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science or equivalent experience.12+ years in IT with experience in database management, data architecture, or data engineering.At least 3 years of leadership experience.Strong technical knowledge of enterprise platforms, architecture, and solution design.Experience managing large teams, vendor relationships, and developing budgets.Excellent communication, presentation, and management skills.Knowledge of data privacy laws, project management, and cloud/hybrid infrastructure.Experience in coaching, mentoring, and driving engagement initiatives is preferred. Work Conditions: Due to the global nature, some communication may involve language barriers, and meetings may occur outside typical hours. Travel may be required to collaborate across regions.
