Database Integration Manager

About the role

The Global Group Lead/Unit Manager for Database and Integration Operations is a senior leader responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning and continuous improvement of the IT Database and Integration Operations Unit.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence, develop strategies, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
• Manage database platforms, APIs, service buses, and messaging systems, promoting cost-effective solutions
• Define and enforce IT and Data Platform standards, policies, and best practices
• Collaborate globally, build relationships, and represent the unit in key meetings
• Lead, coach, and mentor teams, fostering engagement and performance improvements
• Deliver presentations on strategy, performance, and roadmaps to stakeholders
• Ensure platform availability, compliance, and risk management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Science or equivalent
• 12+ years in IT with experience in database administration, data architecture, or engineering
• 3+ years of leadership experience
• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise platforms, middleware, and cloud solutions
• Excellent communication, management, and vendor relations skills
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and developing applications
• Ability to lead cross-regional initiatives and manage global teams

Skills

• Proven experience in IT architecture, cloud migration, and supporting large‑scale applications
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws and HR principles
• Coaching skills
