Data Integration Manager

About the role

The Medical University of Innsbruck is seeking a Data Integration Manager to join the Office of the Rectorate starting 01.05.2025.

Requirements

• Relevant degree or several years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in analysing and processing large amounts of data
• Experience in XML processing
• Sound knowledge of software development with Python
• Experience in dealing with programming interfaces (APIs)
• Experience in the administration of Linux systems
• Experience in medical informatics (e.g. HL7, FHIR)
• Good written and spoken German and English skills
• Passion for the digital transformation of interdisciplinary research and development
• Ability to communicate precisely and effectively with various stakeholders in the research environment
• Independent and structured way of working with high problem-solving skills and analytical thinking

Responsibilities

• Data import from decentralised sources into the CentraXX software
• Development and further development of automated data import tools
• Operational and strategic communication with institutes regarding data import
• Strategic management of data interfaces for import/export
• Software-related support for clinical/preclinical users

Pay

The annual minimum salary for this position is €47,464.20 gross at the basic level. Salary may be increased based on previous job-specific experience as per the collective agreement. Overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and professional experience.
