Database Engineers / Administrators - multiple levels - FULLY CL with Security Clearance

About the role

Constellation Technologies Inc is seeking experienced Database Engineers/Administrators at various levels, including fully cleared positions with polygraph required. Positions are available in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, and Fort Meade, Maryland.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily database administration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system database and Oracle Streams replication issues.
• Modify existing database scripts to enhance systems support and create new database scripts for recurring database issues.
• Develop and execute SQL queries for routine and ad hoc requests.
• Perform system updates and Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) patching.
• Recommend design and implementation practices that optimize the performance of GOTS/COTS databases and applications.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience for Level 04, 12 years for Level 03, 9 years for Level 02, and 6 years for Level 01, all directly related to Database Engineering/Administration.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Oracle Database Administration, including data replication technologies.
• Experience implementing and maintaining database security.
• Experience conducting database performance tuning and monitoring.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving database problems/issues.
• Experience installing, configuring, and upgrading RDBMS software.
• Experience with procedural languages, such as PL/SQL.

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Grid/RAC in a Linux environment.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Experience with real-time highly available data replication technologies such as Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Streams, Oracle Golden Gate, Sybase Replication Server.
• Experience with MySQL.
• Experience with Cassandra.

Pay

The estimated annual salary range for this role is $117,187 to $240,000, depending on experience level.
