Database Engineer 2 with Security Clearance

Job Description

We are seeking a Database Engineer / Full-Stack Developer with hands-on experience in MongoDB or MariaDB, including deployment, management, debugging optimization issues, and scaling. The ideal candidate will bring strong database expertise along with the ability to support development and integration efforts in modern software environments.

• Experience with Python and frameworks such as Django or Flask
• REST endpoint development
• Building applications within a microservices architecture
• Familiarity with tools and technologies such as Swagger, AWS/C2S or other cloud platforms, Docker, Visual Studio Code (or similar IDEs), JSON/XML serialization, Jira, Confluence, and Git
• Experience working in an Agile development environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• Five (5) years' experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.
• Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
