Database Administrator

Responsibilities

• Lead SQL migration from on-premises to AWS and Azure cloud environments
• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise database platforms including Microsoft SQL Server
• Design, implement, and maintain disaster recovery strategies for SQL environments
• Monitor performance, integrity, and security of all database platforms
• Mentor other DBAs on AWS and Azure Cloud best practices and contribute to automation initiatives
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline deployments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience, or 4 years experience in lieu of degree
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• SQL Server and AWS or Azure Cloud Certified
• Hands-on experience migrating SQL Always-on and SQL Cluster to Azure and AWS Cloud
• Strong expertise in SQL Server administration for both on-premises and cloud environments
• Proven ability to manage SQL Server instances across multiple platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, on-premises)
