Database Administrator

About the role

Deploy and operate IDMS in a z/OS environment on IBM mainframe. Create and support IDMS databases using the relational model with SQL syntax. Implement SQL access to native IDMS databases. Deploy IDMS security for ADS/O application structures, IDD, and relational database objects. Develop application programs for IDMS database (native and SQL) using COBOL and ADS/O. Monitor IDMS performance using Perfmon for online monitoring and report generation.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience with IDMS deployment and operations in a z/OS environment
• 10+ years of experience with IDMS SQL option
• 15+ years of experience with IDMS security deployment
• 15+ years of experience with application programming for IDMS using COBOL and ADS/O
• 12+ years of experience with IBM High Level Assembler on z/OS
• 10+ years of experience with IDMS Perfmon online monitoring and report generation
