Data Entry Specialist

About the Role

Data Entry Specialist position within a Philippine travel agency and tour operator specializing in domestic and international packages, groups, corporate/incentive travel, ticketing, hotels, transfers, and visa assistance. This role focuses on data and reporting reliability, ensuring confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions are visibly separated during data entry tasks. The role operates independently from customer payment and visa-service operations, with no authority to promise visa outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Review data entry tasks using dashboard reporting to maintain visibility of source, owner, status, and next action within the travel agency’s operational context.
• Document role-specific workflows with status tracking, ensuring traceability of data and actions.
• Maintain data validation and deadline management, adhering to a data-focused, entry-focused, and specialized-execution work profile.
• Reconcile documentation with reporting to ensure accuracy and readiness for downstream processes.
• Coordinate quality control and workflow management, surfacing repeated errors before they result in rework.
• Apply data accuracy while tracking evidence and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Document process compliance and escalate issues with clear reasoning for decision-making.
• Exercise judgment in follow-up actions, particularly when data entry depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
• Ensure remote completion of tasks by maintaining current dashboard reporting, issue escalation, and exception tracking for seamless handoffs.

Pay

Base salary: $50,000–$75,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote within the United States.
