Data Entry Specialist
We are seeking a temporary Data Entry Support Agent to assist with purchasing and order-related support for our New York location. This role will be based in Northbrook and will focus on accurate data entry, order updates, vendor follow-up, basic data analysis, and internal customer support.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in systems while communicating with vendors and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Enter order and vendor-related information accurately into internal systems
- Review and update order data to ensure records are current and accurate
- Assist with basic data analysis related to purchasing activity, open orders, and order status
- Expedite orders by following up with vendors on delivery timing and order updates
- Communicate with vendors regarding order status, delays, availability, and related issues
- Replace MRO items in the system as needed
- Support EPO-related data entry and system updates
- Provide customer service support to internal stakeholders
- Maintain clear and professional communication with vendors and team members
- Assist with general administrative and purchasing support as assigned

Qualifications
- Prior data entry, administrative support, purchasing support, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable entering and updating information in business systems
- Ability to review data and identify missing or incorrect information
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable contacting vendors and internal stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with MRO, EPO, or purchasing systems is a plus
- ERP system experience required
Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.

This is a fully onsite, contract position based in Northbrook, IL.
