Data Entry Specialist

Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts (Hybrid)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-focused professional to support invoice processing, coding, and compliance activities across a busy accounting environment. This opportunity offers a chance to contribute to accurate financial operations while working with multiple internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Review and process a high volume of invoices, including exterior building sign and banner invoices, non-contractual invoices, special project invoices, and A&E invoices.
• Check each line item for correct coding, pricing accuracy, duplicate entries, and project alignment by cross-referencing multiple schedules and reference materials.
• Maintain payment, tracking, and cost logs with accuracy and timeliness using Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
• Identify coding issues, raise potential concerns to management, and support compliance testing and payment processing activities.

Requirements

• Business-related experience, preferably in a corporate setting for a large company.
• Detail-oriented approach with strong attention to accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize a large workload and work independently with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Payment processing experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products.
• Working knowledge of DocuSign.
• Working knowledge of Oracle is preferred.
• Ability to work with various contractors.
