Data Entry Specialist

Project Expedition needs a Data Entry Specialist to ensure record accuracy across a tours-and-activities marketplace connecting travelers, travel advisors, tour operators, excursions, transfers, bookings, content, and partner support. This role focuses on maintaining clarity around what is complete, pending, and who owns the next step.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the workflow by comparing incoming information with source documents.
• Track and resolve duplicate or incomplete records.
• Document corrections and unresolved exceptions.
• Coordinate naming and filing standards to ensure consistency.
• Enter and validate structured records to uphold accuracy.
• Apply document review and quality control in data entry execution.
• Manage exceptions, owners, and deadlines tied to data entry tasks.
• Ensure process compliance decisions are clearly documented for team reference.
• Use sound judgment in data entry, escalating issues when necessary.

Qualifications

Success in this role means maintaining current record accuracy, assigning ownership for exceptions, and ensuring work can be seamlessly continued by another teammate without reconstructing history.

Pay

Base salary: $38,000–$54,000 per year.

Full-time, entry-level, 100% remote within the United States.
