JAK Travel Agency is seeking a Data Entry Specialist to ensure disciplined record accuracy across custom cruises, tours, destination celebrations, groups, reservations, and traveler follow-up. The role focuses on data entry specialized execution within group travel operations, surfacing incomplete information before it leads to downstream rework.

Success in this role means maintaining current record accuracy, assigning ownership for exceptions, and ensuring another authorized teammate can continue the work without reconstructing history.

Responsibilities

• Resolve duplicate or incomplete records as part of the Data Entry Specialist workflow.
• Document corrections and unresolved exceptions to maintain clarity and accountability.
• Maintain naming and filing standards to ensure consistency.
• Enter and validate structured records accurately.
• Compare incoming information with source documents to verify accuracy.

Skills

• Confident use of Data Entry and Document Review in group travel operations.
• Apply Quality Control while tracking exceptions, owners, and deadlines.
• Document decisions clearly so teammates can follow the reasoning.
• Use sound judgment around Process Compliance, escalating when necessary instead of making assumptions.

Role Details

This is a full-time, entry-level position. The role is 100% remote within the United States.

Pay

Base salary: $38,000–$54,000 per year.
