Data Entry Specialist
About the role
Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Data Entry Specialist which will be based in Millersville, MD. This is a detail-oriented data entry and administrative support role that entails compiling, recording, and reporting asset and financial data. This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of quality, problem solving skills and time management skills. Opportunity for advancement to a supervisory role over time.

Responsibilities
- Reviews, updates and extracts data from database systems
- Maintains database by entering new and updated account information
- Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
- Verifies entered account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data
- Provide occasional administrative support
- Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data management
Qualifications
- Organization skills
- Analytical abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus
- Experience with office and billing system software applications
- Experience in data entry is a plus
- An associate's degree or graduation from high school supplemented with coursework or experience in bookkeeping or data entry
Pay
$20.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience
