About the role
CARING, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Data Entry Specialist to accurately enter, update, and maintain important business and healthcare information. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong computer skills, and the ability to manage large amounts of information while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
1–3 years of experience in data entry, administrative support, healthcare records, customer service, or a related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in company databases and systems.
- Review data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Verify information and correct errors when identified.
- Organize and maintain electronic files and records.
- Process documents, forms, reports, and administrative records.
- Assist with data collection and reporting activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and patient information.
- Follow company procedures and quality standards for data accuracy.
- Perform regular data audits to ensure information integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support administrative operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in data entry, administrative support, or office operations preferred.
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and database systems.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Reliable internet connection and a secure workspace for remote roles.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with healthcare data, medical records, or insurance information.
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy standards is a plus.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR), CRM, or database software.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
