What Will You Do?
- Responsible for the main door entrance and visitors.
- Sort and forward incoming mail and emails and prepare and send outgoing mail.
- Send temporary new hire information.
- Coordinate new hires, including ID badges, car permits and initial training.
- Coordinate CBP K9 training sessions.
- Purchasing packaging and office supplies.
- Communicate with employees and respond to queries.
- Maintain filing cabinets, daily reports and workload database.
- Organize and maintain seals.
- Operate office equipment.
- Cook up activities and disseminate information to all employees in the building.
- Primary contact for security and safety activities and projects.
What Do You Need?
- Minimal education high school diploma and three (3) years distribution experience will be considered.
- Experience in purchasing and coordinating events.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, able to work well under pressure, manage and prioritize multiple initiatives, detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain composure during high-stress situations and maintain focus on ultimate objectives.
- Excellent planning/time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and competing demands.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including listening and offering positive and constructive feedback.
- Help with administration of safety and security.
- Other related activities as applicable.
Pay
Starting Wage: $14 to 16 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm – some overtime available based on company need
