Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter patient demographics, insurance information, and clinical data into our billing systems.
  • Review documents and on-screen data for errors and correct any inconsistencies to ensure data integrity.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies when handling sensitive patient records.
  • Prepare and sort source documents, and identify and interpret data to be entered.
  • Assist the billing and coding team by retrieving information and supporting administrative tasks as required.
  • Perform regular data verification and quality control checks to maintain high standards of accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar administrative role.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A high level of discretion and a commitment to handling confidential information responsibly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in the healthcare sector or familiarity with medical terminology would be a significant advantage.
