Data Entry Clerk
Responsibilities
- Enter and update numeric and text-based information in computer systems with a high level of accuracy.
- Review documents for completeness and correct discrepancies before uploading or recording data.
- Scan, organize, and index paper records to create clear and accessible digital files.
- Convert PDFs and other source materials into structured electronic records for internal use.
- Maintain orderly file storage within shared platforms, including SharePoint and other document repositories.
- Perform routine quality checks to verify that entered information matches source documentation.
- Support document handling tasks by retrieving, naming, and filing records according to established procedures.
Requirements
- Experience performing data entry in an office or administrative environment.
- Strong typing skills with the ability to enter information quickly and accurately.
- Able to handle numeric data with close attention to detail and consistency.
- Proficiency with document scanning, PDF files, and digital file organization.
- Familiarity with SharePoint or similar shared document management systems.
- Comfort working independently on repetitive tasks while meeting deadlines.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn internal data entry procedures quickly.
