Data Engineer Intern
How You’ll Make An Impact
Learn and map SAP manufacturing and QC data structures to MSAT use cases, turning business questions into reliable data sources.
Develop standardized, reusable queries, scripts, and templates for common MSAT data extraction and analysis needs.
Create clear work aids and documentation so MSAT can independently retrieve and analyze data consistently.
Partner with MSAT team members to validate data accuracy and ensure outputs support troubleshooting and CI efforts.
Reduce manual, ad-hoc data mining and reliance on tribal knowledge by implementing scalable, repeatable data workflows.
What You Bring
- Education: Enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in data analytics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience: Basic experience with SQL and/or Python for data extraction and analysis through coursework or projects is preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team, take instruction and learn, not too dissimilar from participation on sports teams.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to use the Microsoft suite of applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- 3.0 Minimum GPA.
Location
This position must be based in Hercules, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Pay
The hourly range for this position is $25 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
