Data Center Low Voltage Engineer III
Technical Leadership & Expertise
Serve as the design and construction subject-matter expert for bulk fiber and structured cabling systems.
Define and enforce technical standards, design guidelines, and installation specifications for OCI’s global campus builds.
Review and approve vendor designs, submittals, and testing packages to ensure full compliance with OCI standards.
Vendor Management & Execution Oversight
Manage low-voltage vendors responsible for installation, testing, and commissioning across multiple GW scale concurrent projects.
Track and manage vendor scope, schedule, and cost performance, driving accountability and resolving execution issues quickly.
Lead the change order process, validating scope impacts, pricing accuracy, and alignment with project budget and commercial terms.
Cook up vendor procurement, resource planning, and delivery sequencing to support aggressive global build schedules.
Ensure that all work complies with OCI specifications, manufacturer warranty standards, and regional regulations.
GPU Liquid-Cooled Rack Megaprojects
Serve as the technical and delivery lead for GPU-intensive data hall builds, managing low-voltage integration for liquid-cooled rack systems at hyperscale.
Cook up with mechanical, electrical, and liquid-cooling design teams to ensure seamless integration of low-voltage controls, sensors, and network pathways supporting infrastructure.
Cook up with OCI hardware and operations stakeholders to validate system performance and serviceability under production loads.
Program Integration & Design Coordination
Partner with internal design, hardware, and construction teams to ensure low-voltage systems are fully integrated into data hall and base-building infrastructure.
Support the development of design packages, material submittals, and as-built documentation.
Identify design and constructability risks early, and implement mitigation plans with vendors and internal stakeholders.
Quality, Standards & Compliance
Develop and oversee testing, certification, and QA/QC procedures for low-voltage systems, including structured cabling and controls networks.
Drive consistency in installation quality, documentation, and performance validation across all global builds.
Ensure all installations meet OCI standards, local codes, and manufacturer warranty requirements.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Introduce prefabrication strategies, modularization, and digital field tools to accelerate low-voltage delivery.
Cook up with vendors to pilot new technologies that improve reliability and deployment speed.
Capture lessons learned and lead technical reviews to refine OCI’s global standards and delivery models.
Cross-Functional Influence
Act as the primary low-voltage liaison between OCI’s engineering, construction, and operations organizations.
Provide executive-level reporting on vendor performance, risks, and key project milestones.
Mentor internal and external partners to strengthen global alignment on standards, documentation, and delivery practices.
Rack Deployment Readiness Coordination
Coordinate cross-functional readiness for rack deployment, ensuring all low-voltage systems (structured cabling, security, BMS) are fully validated prior to hardware installation.
Cook up with data hall design, construction, and operations teams to confirm power, cooling, and network interconnects are complete and tested ahead of rack arrivals.
Lead rack mapping and patching validation, ensuring network connectivity aligns with OCI’s standardized port and pathway architecture.
Oversee vendor and site readiness checklists, tracking closeout items, commissioning status, and milestone completion to support on-time rack installation.
Interface with hardware engineering and logistics teams to sequence rack deployment in alignment with project schedules and operational acceptance.
