Data Center Low Voltage Engineer III

About the role

Deploys physical plant cabling systems and implements infrastructure for Oracle data centers. Builds relationships with Program Management teams to support completion of project deliverables on time and collaborates with vendors to deliver build-out of data center infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Data Center Design & Implementation – Cabling Infrastructure:
  • Contributes to designs for structured cabling solutions for new data center builds and expansions.
  • Deploys physical plant cabling systems as instructed.
  • Adheres to global data center cabling and infrastructure standards.
  • Troubleshoots standard and non-standard cabling infrastructure connectivity issues, including patch panels and patch cords.
• Data Center Design & Implementation – Continuous Improvement:
  • Implements infrastructure for Oracle data centers.
  • Delivers sustainable and repeatable solutions to support continuous improvement of data centers.
• Project Management – Project Planning:
  • Understands project scope by reviewing the Bill of Materials and available resources, aligning with project roadmaps and business needs.
  • Prioritizes customer experience in project planning and delivery.
• Project Management – Reporting & Documentation:
  • Builds relationships with Program Management teams to support on-time completion of project deliverables.
  • Reports and documents project updates to inform team leads of status and roadblocks.
  • Maintains documentation on cabling and build standards for data center infrastructure.
• Vendor Management:
  • Collaborates with vendors to deliver build-out of data center infrastructure.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with internal project stakeholders.
• Planning & Execution:
  • Independently manages work, monitoring timelines and deliverables to ensure projects stay on track.
  • Proactively prioritizes work and adapts to resource or timeline shifts, suggesting adjustments to maintain efficiency.

  • Collaborates across teams to align on expectations and achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications

Pay

Hiring range in the U.S.: $74,100 – $148,300 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity. Oracle maintains broad salary ranges to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations.
