Data and Production Services Technician

About the role

The role involves providing technical support and maintenance for data and production systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing routine maintenance tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in data and production systems
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and security checks
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure system availability and performance
• Document findings and solutions for future reference

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in IT support or production services
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems, and common IT tools like Microsoft Office and SQL

Qualifications

• Experience with network infrastructure and server management
• Knowledge of data backup and recovery procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

• Good organizational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
