Responsibilities

This role is responsible for supporting enterprise analytics and business intelligence initiatives by gathering, integrating, analyzing, and interpreting large and complex data sets to deliver actionable insights and recommendations that drive business decisions.

The individual designs, develops, and maintains BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and semantic models using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and the Microsoft Power Platform, while partnering with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable reporting and self-service analytics solutions.

  • Acquire data from multiple sources
  • Identify trends and patterns
  • Perform statistical and data analysis
  • Write and optimize SQL queries
  • Develop reusable BI assets
  • Ensure the performance, reliability, governance, and security of analytics solutions
  • Present findings in a clear and concise manner
  • Monitor the effectiveness of recommendations
  • Support continuous improvement through collaboration with BI developers, data engineers, and business partners

Requirements

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, with one to three years of statistical and/or data analytics experience.

  • Familiar with Data modeling concepts and basic data warehousing principles
  • Microsoft Power Platform experience
  • Experience or familiarity with financial services or investment services domains (e.g., Fund services, asset management, operations, or client reporting)
  • Experience with BI tools or reporting platforms and working with data for analysis and decision support
  • Use of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Altrex, SSIS, Kanban, Scrum, SDLCA
  • Ability to partner with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements and priorities
  • Knowledge of Data governance and data quality practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

Preferred Skills/Experience:
