About the role

As an intern, you’ll get hands-on experience right away, working alongside project teams and partners to keep things moving. You’ll help solve real problems, stay organized, communicate across teams, and make an impact from day one while building the foundation for your career.

As our Data Analytics & Insights Intern, you will provide administrative and analytical support to the Data Analytics & Insights team, assisting in providing strategic insight and operational support to maximize business and financial performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support our team with the implementation of exciting business intelligence projects including assisting in the development of analyses, reports, and dashboards for internal customers
  • Draft required technical documentation and associated training to ensure the integrity and successful use of implemented dashboards and other data analyses
  • Utilize various database, data visualization, and data science tools to help create the required calculation and visualize customized key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Support the development of tools utilized for the creation of predictive analyses
  • Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate, four-year degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Math, or other related degree

Qualifications

  • Have previous related internship experience
  • Are currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior
  • Have a basic understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices
  • Have experience or familiarity with data analysis/data science software, specifically Excel, Python, R, SQL scripting language
  • Have experience or familiarity in the field of data visualization or reporting
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills and show initiative and leadership
  • Showcase a positive and professional attitude and solid customer service skills
  • Are detail-oriented, organized, and can effectively handle multiple competing priorities

Pay

The hourly wage for college interns starts at $18. Students may be paid higher wages based on their year in school.

Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, O-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.).
