About the role

Leverage intellectual curiosity, business acumen, and technical aptitude to solve complex business problems. Translate data into actionable insights through data science, data engineering, and analytic techniques. Provide technical support to the analytic application technology stack as well as analytic consulting to business functions, management, and executive leadership.

This 2-year project role is a member of the Data and Analytics team and supports the creation, validation, and testing of new Microsoft Fabric materialized views, semantic layers, and Power BI analytics. The role contributes to securing data and analytic foundations in Microsoft Fabric and migrating SAP Billing and ERP applications to the cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Solve complex business problems using data science, data engineering, and analytic techniques.
  • Translate data into actionable insights for business functions, management, and executive leadership.
  • Provide technical support for the analytic application technology stack.
  • Create, validate, and test Microsoft Fabric materialized views and semantic layers.
  • Support Power BI analytics development.
  • Contribute to securing data and analytic foundations in Microsoft Fabric.
  • Assist in migrating SAP Billing and ERP applications to the cloud.

Qualifications

Data & Analytics Engineer I

Salary: $93,677 to $117,097 annually

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or related field; OR
  • Four (4) years of progressively more responsible experience in data management, analytics, or information technology.

Data & Analytics Engineer II

Salary: $117,508 to $146,885 annually

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or related field and two (2) years of progressively more responsible experience in data management, analytics, or information technology; OR
  • Six (6) years of progressively more responsible experience in data management, analytics, or information technology.

Preferred Experience

  • Subject matter expertise in SAP and its respective Public Utility business processes.
