About the role

The DAS Project Manager oversees assigned Distributed Antenna Systems projects, ensuring all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed, and managed according to the Company’s requirements for safety, quality, management, and financial performance. This position requires extensive travel.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline, and discharge project-related staff as necessary.
  • Manage human resource issues per Company policies and procedures, escalating when needed.
  • Recommend performance ratings, promotions, and pay changes for project-related employees.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to meet customer and Company goals.
  • Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
  • Plan, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
  • Review job cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoice preparation, customer collections, and financial reporting.
  • Manage quality and safety issues on customer projects.
  • Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
  • Act as the Company liaison for customer interface.
  • Create, develop, and implement account process improvements.
  • Handle additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated, professional, and capable of leading teams to implement project process improvements.
  • Proven problem-solving, critical thinking, and oral/written presentation skills.
  • High skill level in interpreting blueprints and project documents (specifications, reporting, quality requirements).
  • Ability to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
  • Ability to learn Company and customer project management systems.
  • Must secure and maintain a Company-sponsored American Express Card.
  • Proficiency with trade tools: punch tool with 110 block and 66 block blade, 6/8 position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt-ohmmeter, 4-pair continuity tester, and 5-gang punch tool.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience managing Distributed Antenna System projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
  • Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage them to completion and customer turnover.
  • Experience in customer interface, acting as a liaison between the customer and the Company.

Pay

Annual salary range: $100,000 – $130,000 USD.

Schedule

This position requires extensive travel and may involve remote work.
