Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of dangerous goods shipping requirements.
- Experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse, or transportation environments.
- Ability to follow regulatory procedures and detailed instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven background in the shipping or logistics industry.
- Strong PC skills, particularly in MS Office, with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
Requirements
- A Shift: Sunday- Tuesday 6 AM- 6PM; every other Saturday 6 AM- 2 PM.
- Able to work in a shift pattern that includes Sundays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, and alternate Saturdays.
Skills
- Knowledge of DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations.
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and maintaining shipping documentation.
- Ability to verify classification, labeling, marking, and packaging of dangerous goods shipments.
- Experience supporting audits, inspections, and internal reviews related to dangerous goods compliance.
- Strong record-keeping and filing skills.
- Ability to report potential compliance issues, incidents, or discrepancies to leadership.
- Experience assisting with investigations and documentation related to incidents or non-conformances.
- Experience coordinating and tracking training for dangerous goods requirements.
- Compliance with established safety procedures.
