Dams, Levees, Civil Works Team Lead
About the role
This role is within the Dams, Levees and Civil Works (DLCW) team at HDR. You will be responsible for planning and directing the DLCW team in Kentucky and Tennessee. Your duties include supporting the DLCW Business Class Lead in building and maintaining client relations, participating in project development, and contract document preparation. You will also mentor junior-level staff and assist in coordinating projects with inter-related disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Plan and direct DLCW team within Kentucky/Tennessee
- Support the DLCW BC Lead in building and maintaining client relations
- Participate in project development and contract document preparation
- Mentor junior-level staff across various disciplines
- Aid in coordinating projects with inter-related disciplines such as hydrology, hydraulics, structural, geology, geotechnical, civil, mechanical, CADD and GIS
- Aid the DLCW BC Lead in coordinating with HDR’s other regional and corporate business class technical leads and advisors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 10 years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license required
Qualifications
- Actively engaged in professional or industry associations
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications, GIS, and CADD
- Experience with GeoStudio/Ensoft slope stability, settlement, seepage, and deep foundation response software
- Experience with Bentley suite of geotechnical data management and visualization software
- Knowledge of advanced numerical modeling techniques and commercial software

Pay
The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
This role is full-time and permanent.
