Dallas-Based Litigation Paralegal (Contract Engagement)

About the role

Latitude is seeking a litigation paralegal with at least 5 years of experience to support the legal department of one its national residential services company clients. Applicants must have demonstrated experience managing case dockets, filing deadlines, preparing motions and other filings, organizing large amounts of information and discovery, and creating reports.

Responsibilities

  • Experience tracking and maintaining legal claims and matters, maintaining databases, records and correspondence
  • Experience assisting with drafting of legal filings
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software (e.g., iManage, Relativity, Westlaw, or similar)
  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred
  • Prior experience working at a full-service AmLaw 200 firm or a large legal department is preferred

Pay

The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
