Dairy Queen Manager

About the role

This position leads daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staffing, training, and adherence to company standards to meet goals and key performance indicators.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, validate received orders, oversee stocking and product quality, and ensure proper product rotation and handling of spoiled items.
• Maintain knowledge of store products, sales, and promotions while executing weekly plans and managing scheduling, labor, and payroll.
• Develop and monitor department goals, forecasts, and performance, while fostering a positive work environment through staffing, training, and performance management.
• Ensure a clean, attractive, and safe department, adhering to food safety and safety guidelines, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
• Participate in meetings and communicate effectively across teams, contributing to achieving company objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred retail and supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and retail management systems.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly desirable.
