D Shift - Assembly Associate 1

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Properly verify components to shop order prior to assembly.
• Maintain quality and production standards on a daily basis.
• Handle products to prevent damage.
• Report all equipment maintenance problems daily.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work with others in a team concept, both individually and as a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of engine parts preferred.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good eye/hand coordination.
• Able to perform repetitive functions for an extended period of time.

Reasoning Abilities

• Ability to interpret written, oral, and schedule instructions.
• Good analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Sometimes climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Frequent lifting and/or moving objects up to 50 pounds.
• Close, distance, color, and depth vision.
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and high, precarious places.

Work Environment

• Moderate noise levels.
• Occasional overtime may be required.
