Qualifications
- Graduate from an ABHES accredited school of cytotechnology or equivalent.
- Cytotechnologist CT (ASCP registration) required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience as a Cytotechnologist preferred.
- Knowledgeable of all aspects of the cytotechnology department.
- Screens an average of 60 – 80 slides per day (limits set by CAP and Pathologist).
- Diagnosis consistently within one grade of Pathologist or Consultant diagnosis.

About the role
Valley View Hospital's Laboratory is seeking a full-time, day shift Cytotechnologist, Monday through Friday.
GYN and non-GYN as well as molecular testing and grossing of specimens are included in the responsibilities.
We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. However, we are not able to sponsor visas.
The position will remain open for a minimum of three days and until a top applicant is identified.
