Cylinder Processor - Lead
Work Schedule: 1st Shift
Responsibilities
- Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
- Perform visual, physical, and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determine whether retesting and/or repairs are required.
- Check for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and fill any necessary product.
- Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
- Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
- Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and key into the computer the quantities, styles, and products filled to justify the stock inventory.
- Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and governmental procedures.
- Operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.
Requirements
- High School Degree/GED required.
- 2+ years of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical background desired.
- Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
