Cylinder Processor - Lead

Work Schedule: 1st Shift

Responsibilities

• Process medical and industrial gas cylinders using established plant guidelines and procedures.
• Perform visual, physical, and odor tests on cylinders before filling and determine whether retesting and/or repairs are required.
• Check for cylinder quantities, styles, and product, and fill any necessary product.
• Load and unload product from weekly shuttle truck.
• Operate and maintain cylinder scales and associated equipment.
• Prepare warehouse transfer orders and accompanying paperwork for shipment and key into the computer the quantities, styles, and products filled to justify the stock inventory.
• Complete and maintain quality control documentation as per company and governmental procedures.
• Operate a forklift truck and other plant vehicles.

Requirements

• High School Degree/GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in a plant or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong mechanical background desired.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
