Cycle Counter

Responsibilities

• Conducts cycle counts and corrects discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy and avoid preventable aging.
• Reconciles the results of inventory counts and posts appropriate journals required to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Acts as a resource for training on scanning using RFSmart handheld scanners.
• Ensures the operation is providing food-safe, quality products which meet or exceed all product specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Follows all safety procedures and participates in safety training.
• Maintains safe and efficient use of equipment, tools, and personnel. Reports any injury or accident immediately to supervisory staff and/or any unsafe condition.
• Supports and complies with GMPs. Understands and follows emergency action plan.
• Supports food safety, quality, and legality.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• ERP system experience; D365 helpful.
• Cycle counting and/or inventory management experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team player.
• Displays a sense of urgency with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills.
• Computer knowledge with basic Excel skills.
• Ability to read work orders and complete paperwork in a timely fashion.
• Ability to stand for long hours and handle repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
